Skydiving

When Kerry, Heidi, and I were getting ready to go on a cruise I wanted to get certified to go scuba diving so I convinced the girls to do it with me and in exchange for learning to go scuba diving Heidi wanted to go Skydiving. So on Heidi's birthday we went out to Tooele to jump out of a plane. Kerry was not interested in doing this at all she said no so it was just me and Heidi. When we got there we were both excited. First you sign off on your waiver form then you watch a video where they teach you how to jump out of the plane and then you get suited up and head out. That's it you get a 30 minute video a demonstration from the instructor and then you jump out of a plane sounds like we are crazy.
Now let me tell you when you take off in this small little plane you wonder what the hell am I doing up here and then for a bit you just try to forget you are about to jump out of it. Once you are almost to the correct altitude they open the door you are going to jump out of and that's when it hits you I have lost my mind get me out of here but not by jumping out. I had been the last one to get on the plane which in this case means I am first out of the plane. I get up and head over with my instructor he goes over the instructions one more time and then we jump. The fall down is quite fast it's over very quickly and then once the parachute opens you get to enjoy the ride down and look out over the valley. Even though you can't believe you went up in the first place once you get back down you relaize it was fun.
