Farmer's Market

Today our city had a farmer's market day. This is a day where they not only sell fresh produce but they have tons of booths, a tri tip cook off, treats, music, dancing, and some activities for the kids. My friend Miranda met me at my house since we are a block away from the park and we walked on over. Once we were there we met up with our friend Candy and her kids. The older kids started off by going in the bounce house and jumper slide while we started to check out some of the dancing. It was quite cute the little girls did some Hawaiian themed dances and there were some boys that light the sticks on fire and dance with those.

After watching a few of the shows we headed over to have some tri tip lunch which was really good and we listened to the band while we ate. Then we walked around and checked out the booths. They had several things and a highlight was the pies from Julian. If I liked fruit pie I would have picked one up but I don't really care for them. We of course checked out the produce that was for sale and stopped to get some kettle corn. Chloe loved watching the kettle corn getting scooped up and put into the bag and she was licking her lips like she wanted some but a little too young maybe the next time.

The other treat that I of course had to get was some shaved ice. They had a new flavor called butterbeer so I decided to try this out and boy let me tell you it was yummy in fact I would have to say one of my favorites. I can tell you that when we head to the fair here soon I will definitely have to get another one of those. There was also a hula hoop booth so I tested out my abilities just to see how good I am and I can still rock the hula hoop I could do that for awhile and it's just so much fun.

We spent a few hours over there just checking things out relaxing and enjoying the entertainment. It was a nice 80 degrees outside and was such a wonderful day. Soon the fair will be here so I am excited to get out and do that next.

Update

Since Chloe was still sick and it was getting worse, we had now added puking to the list, we figured this wasn't just a stomach flu anymore. I took her into the doctors Wednesday morning. After the doctor came in and looked at her he said it looked like she might have a urine infection but in order to find out he needed to test her pee. He wanted to try and put a catheter in her since this is the quickest way to get a sample and that way they could get it to the lab sooner and find out the results. Unfortunatly because she is so little the catheter was not small enough so we had to put a bag over her to catch the pee. Then once she had filled the bag I took it back to the doctors and we had to wait for the results to come back.

Thursday afternoon the lab returned her results and the doctor said to start giving her the antibiotics that he had prescribed to me on Wednesday. We got her started right away and within just a few hours it really kicked in she was actually playing on the floor like her normal self. The doctor called me Thursday night to see how she was and to talk to me about the results and where she was at. It's nice to have a doctor that cares about your baby.

Today she had some more medicine and then she has played all day on the floor by herself. Her fever went away this afternoon. It's great having Chloe back to her usual happy self. She is such a happy fun baby that it's hard watching her be so miserable. I'm so glad the antibiotics have worked so quickly and can't wait till she makes a full recovery.

Sick Day

Friday I woke up and Chloe had a temperature of 101 degrees. I was scheduled to work from home that day but I knew that she would be upset and want to be held the whole time I was working so instead I just called off work that day.

I started giving her some Pediacare medicine every 4 hours to reduce her fever and some Pedialyte to keep her hydrated. Other then her wanting to be held and not eating she was really good. Saturday we woke up and she was still running a fever so we did the same thing. Last night she seemed to be getting better actually playing on the floor and not wanting to be held so I thought well we are for sure done with this. Till this morning when I woke up and the fever is still here. It's frustrating cause she has no other symptom's and the medicine appears to work since it has been reducing her fever each time she takes it but it doesn't seem like it's doing enough.

I had Matt pick up some Tylenol on his way home from work this morning so I am going to try that in the hopes that this clears up whatever bug she has. She does seem to be doing better she is actually eating more food and wanting to be on the floor and play so I hope the fever goes away but if not it looks like we will be headed to the doctor tomorrow.

My poor little baby crashed after a little food this morning
Although I must say I love the little dog in this picture. After Chloe finished laying on him while she was eating her bottle she rolled over and then started to fall asleep and in the picture you see this dog holding her bottle with these sad looking eyes like poor baby doesn't feel good just looks adorable to me.

Valentine's Day

After Matt got home from work he was so excited to give me my Valentine's present but he wanted it to be a surprise. So he came inside and made me and Chloe go into the bedroom and close the door while he went to his car and got it. After a few minutes he opens the door and says ok come out and he tells me I have something for Chloe too. I walk out into the living room and he has my presents set up in one area and Chloe's in another. He was so excited it was just so cute. He got me some flowers, a pink stuffed teddy bear, a big heart shaped box of chocolate's, and a card it was so sweet and romantic and much more then I expected. He gave Chloe a big red puppy dog, some flowers, a small box of chocolate's and a card too.

I love that he decided Chloe needed as much for Valentine's Day as me it's so adorable to me how much he loves her. I of course got Matt something too which was small cause Matt and I do not like to spend a lot on holidays so I got him some candy and then we had decided not to go out to dinner since it's always so busy that night I had told him I would make him dinner and we would stay in and that I would make him anything he wanted. I also got Chloe a movie Planet 51 I know it will be awhile before she will want to watch it but I bet she will love it when she does get to that age.

For dinner he chose spaghetti which was fine with me simple and easy and then I had bought some chocolate ice cream for dessert and we watched the movie Breaking Dawn. I figure that since Chloe will be more into the stuffed animals that she can play with both hers and mine and I will take care of her flowers and chocolate's for her.

It wound up being a wonderful day and we had a lot of fun together. Happy Valentine's Day to both my loves.

Fun Times

Matt and I were just hanging out in the living room while he was laying on the floor Chloe decided she wanted something on the couch. Since Matt's head was right there she decided to use that as her stepping stone to maker herself taller. While standing on his head I hear Matt say Tasha the baby is standing on my head like he is telling on her. I of course laugh and tell him then take her off you but apparently Chloe was not done cause she then starts bouncing up and down on his face and the next thing I hear is Matt yelling owe Chloe is hurting me. It was so hilarious to look over and see Chloe bouncing up and down on his face that of course instead of helping him out and taking her off I am snapping pictures. I tried to get a video but he took her off before I could get one. This was just so cute sure do love that little baby.

Third Word

I was giving Chloe her bath as usual tonight and while she was laughing and playing she started saying baby. This is Chloe's third word that she now says on a regular basis. I love to hear her sweet little sayings even if they are just babble but when it actually forms words it's just so cute.
